Hello
My name is Abigail and I have been offering soft tissue therapies now for 17 years. I originally trained in Sports & Remedial Massage therapy setting up Restore Clinic whilst undertaking a five year degree in Chiropractic – following the McTimoney method, graduating in 2010 with first class honours.
In September 2023, I chose to voluntarily de-register from the Chiropractic profession’s statutory regulatory body and focus on manual therapy approaches concentrating on soft tissue techniques.
Aims and Ethos
To relax, restore and revive! An individual treatment approach aiming to help relieve stress, aid relaxation and promote wellbeing.
About the treatment:
I offer a mix blend of manual therapy treatment modalities honed from various training and CPD courses over the years. These include stretching, myofascial release, massage, mobilisation, cranial sacral therapy and advanced soft tissue techniques including soft tissue release (STR).
Importantly, the focus is always on the individual and I look at the body as a whole rather than just the site of symptoms in isolation. This is because the human body is highly interconnected and a problem in one area is likely to impact others. For example, pain in the left knee could cause you to offload pressure on that side as you naturally compensate to walk etc creating more load on the right knee or onto the hips/ankles.
I offer 3 treatment options:
Special interests:
Please note I do not treat anyone in acute pain and suffering from any serious medical condition, in that instance I will always request you see your GP.
Making an appointment:
I currently offer appointments Monday – Thursday 9-3pm.
The best way of booking an appointment is via text message to 07968307602 or email [email protected] and I then have your details and can get back to you as soon as I can.

Special interests:
- Sports People
- Exercise is an integral part of my life and I have enjoyed helping support people in a wide range of sports from American Football to Ballet and Korfball to Ultra running. This could be helping you train for an Iron Man or Marathon event or more often empowering people to take those first steps around the block or into the gym or pool again.
- Desk Based People
- Symptoms arising from more sedentary desk and computer based working life are common. I enjoy helping people review their working day and their work set up to help them reduce the load on their bodies as well as helping undo some of the tightness arising from desk based posture.
- Pregnancy and new mums
- As a mum of two myself I can understand first hand some of the challenges of pregnancy and enjoy helping pregnant ladies manage the demands of pregnancy and particularly supporting them back to fitness afterwards.
Please note I do not treat anyone in acute pain and suffering from any serious medical condition, in that instance I will always request you see your GP.
